The Place of Northern Ireland within UK Human Rights Reform

In conjunction with the Transitional Justice Institute at Ulster University the Human Rights Consortium will be hosting a seminar entitled, ‘The Place of Northern Ireland within UK Human Rights Reform’ from 10:30am – 12 noon at the Belfast campus, Ulster University, Boardroom, BA-03-019 3.

Aoife O’Donoghue is a Senior Lecturer in Durham Law School. Aoife’s research centres on public international law, global governance, feminism and legal history. She was a founder of Law and Global Justice in Durham and is a Co-Director of Northern/Ireland Feminist Judgments Project.

Colin Murray is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Newcastle University. His current research is focused in the fields of national security law, legal history and public law. In 2013 he served as specialist adviser to the UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on the Voting Eligibility (Prisoners) Bill.

Ben Warwick is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Durham Law School. He has research interests across human rights, gender and international law. He currently serves as Deputy Convenor of the Durham Human Rights Centre and is an Associate Fellow of the Wolfson Research Institute.
