Human Rights Consortium Addresses Expert Audience on Article 2

The Human Rights Consortium was invited to address the Equality Coalition event “Article 2 of the Windsor Framework – Where Are We Now?” in May to provide a civil society perspective on Article 2 stemming from our Beyond Brexit project. Presenting on behalf of the Consortium, Niall Robb, our Research Officer, provided an overview of the three dynamics affecting the rights and equality protections of people in Northern Ireland following the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union. Copies of our slides can be found below.

The event included contributions from Úna Boyd from the Committee on the Administration of Justice, Anurag Deb, a PhD researcher at the School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, and Sinead Marmion from Phoenix Law and was chaired by Professor Aoife O’Donoghue of the School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast.
